I mean that is the THIRD time this season he was relatively brutally took down by the defender and no one cares. No mention from media, pundits, opponents, in highlights.

That is foul for me. I don't care it was unsuccessful finishing and the ball was not already there. Defender simply mistimed his tackle, didn't play the ball and took the Martial down.

The ball was long by him by the time any contact occurred. Giving a penalty there would be soft as shit and I would rather let that play go even if it benefitted my team to get a call.

Idk. It looks almost as if Alexander's right leg swoops into Martial's left leg right as he attempts to backheel with his right. Hard to tell from the angle and without slow-mo. Close.
