5' Liverpool started brighter in the early minutes but United are starting to get into it.

10' No major chances either way yet but it's a typical United vs. Liverpool game with a lot of pressure from both sides and neither team getting time on the ball.

15' United have grown into the game and are starting to dominate possession in attacking areas. The left has looked particularly dangerous with Martial getting involved early.

18' United have the best chance of the game so far as Mkhitaryan feeds Pogba through but Pogba's left-footed shot is dragged wide! The crowd is definitely getting into this now!

23' A Liverpool free kick is swung in and Lovren gets the better of Pogba on the first header but it eventually ends up in De Gea's arms.

25' Liverpool's high press is causing United a lot of problems currently. We're having trouble passing in tight spaces and Jones was punished for sleeping and Liverpool have a corner.

26' LIVERPOOL PENALTY The corner is whipped into Pogba but he handballs it as he tries to clear and Liverpool have a chance...

27' LIVERPOOL GOAL De Gea guesses right but Milner places it with power past the goalkeeper and United have to climb back now.

30' LIVERPOOL YELLOW CARD Lovren dives in and clips Martial and gets booked for it.

32' United win a free kick in a dangerous position on the edge of the box and Ibrahimovic smacks it low and hard but Mignolet gets down well to push it behind.

40' Mkhitaryan has a fantastic chance! He's played through by Herrera but his left-footed shot is saved well by Mignolet as the Liverpool goalkeeper stays tall in goal! He should've scored!

I thought there were a lot of good performances in there today too. Just one of those frantic games, didn't take our chances, shit happens. Pogba was awful though, completely lost it after the miss/pen. Sometimes he just needs to chill and not try to do it all himself.

I can understand the frustration because I also feel like we should have had the game won in the first half. But on the bright side, it was a very poor performance and we still rescued a point from the dead. Things can't always go our way. I'm expecting a resurgent Pogba though.

True, players underperformed, especially Pogba who looked like the occasion got to him. Even before the penalty he misplaced some simple passes, and just couldn't get going without giving the ball away or getting caught on it.

Losing would have been a proper disaster, forget the title. Now we're still a long outside bet, and completely in the race for automatic Champions league or 4th place. Not a bad day.
