Offering this original, numbers matching 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible. This is a very rare piece as only 402 GT500 convertibles were made in 68, and this one has 2 serial numbers which was limited to only those cars built in late 67, and boasts the original gold color which was rarely ordered. The 428 police interceptor as well as the rest of the drive train are original to the car. The smog system has been removed, however, it does come with the car. The interior as well is largely original with the exception of the newer sound system, however, nothing was cut out in the car and all of the original panels come with the car. The car has been resprayed once and the top has been replaced (it was originally white). She has been in the Shelby registry for over 30 years, and has only 66k original miles. The car runs and drives great. A true opportunity to add a one of a kind to your collection.
