It's still celebrity free if she attends.

Is that not why the headline stings in the first place?

Funny that just a year ago she was praised here, and all comments about her republican political views were heavily downvoted xD

Weird, I don't ever remember total praise. I remember the minimal amount of support/respect for her gender and everyone bringing up her being against gay marriage and killing someone with her car.

At least Milo don't have to sit alone...

Roflmao. Add Blaire White to the list and you've got the Evil Trinity.

Ah that dumb child yea add her for all I care

I think Milo will be kneeling, trying to pull a Police Academy.

Milo won't be there! He's giving a talk at my university that day 😑

Why are these universities paying him to talk? It always ends poorly and the administration have to say "oh sorry, we didn't think he was such a bag of dicks. He doesn't represent any off our university's ideals and instead our incompetence as administration. By the way, we decided to raise tuition another 8%, are cutting more tenureship, and building another student center because the one we built list year is too old now."

[–]phanfareI'll unzip your genes

Autonomous clubs. The Republican club invited him and fundraised all the security fees. The university isn't paying anything and isn't banning him since clubs can do as they wish, good or bad.

The college Republicans club claims "we don't support his ideals, but we support free speach". A quick jaunt through their Facebook profiles refutes this claim.

How can you even say you're against someone's ideals when you're paying him to come speak?

Also if you're paying him, his speech ain't free ;)

They want to stir the pot. Milo is "edgy" and "not politically correct". It draws attention to their group and gets them media coverage. Then, when people protest this dickbag, they can cry "Mah free speech! How dare you?! Look how terrible librulz are!" (can you tell this makes me a little salty? GRRRR)

Makes me salty too. They're basically admitting they want to use their money to purposefully insult people and avoid any criticism with "well I don't agree with him [except I do and donated money to see him speak]." I hope the protest signs are always "free speech isn't free from criticism."

I wonder if Milo realises these clubs dont really care about what he has to say and just hire him to get people to protest because the liberals at their university ignore them.

Its like - we have been sitting in this room bitching about the left for several months now and nobody cares; what can we do to get attention and feed our sense of victimhood to last us throughout the next semester?

Milo doesn't even like trans people, so that wouldn't work out, regardless.

Caitlyn give it up. You lost your card to sit at the cool kid's table when you came out. They aren't going to treat you right just because you're so eager to lick their shiny fascist boots.

In a way it's a good compromise. They only have to have one trans person and a single gay flag to validate acceptance, right?

They have a single gay person to go with their flag.

I thought you were talking about coming out as Republican for a minute.

That just kicked her out of the other cool kid's table.

She'll still be exactly as relevant in my life as if she weren't going... not at all.

"Buckle up Buckaroos!"

Why couldn't she have been the one to die in that car wreck? She's done nothing but make life more difficult for trans folk.

Edit: Actually, not just trans folk but the entire LGBTQ community. Maybe we'll get lucky and she gets inspired by Trump and go lick Putin's boots and we end up never hearing from her again.

[–]aessai'm a person!

Honestly though, if it isn't her it's someone else. See: milo.

The problem with only having token trans people or token gay people, or token black people (etc etc) supporting the Republican party is that, if it isn't that particular person then they'll find another token to take their place.

I'm not trying to be confrontational, I'm just out of the loop, but how has she made it worse?

An endless stream of stupidity out of her mouth. Hell, she said she was going to be Ted Cruz' "trans ambassador." That should be enough to tell you that her head is planted firmly up her own arse.

[–]aessai'm a person!

Literally just Google "Why is caitlyn jenner bad for trans people" and every post is plenty of info. She's rich, elite, and her rhetoric and personality are NOT typical or representative of trans people
