It's a draw against Liverpool. Are we back to square one, is there hope for top 4 or the title race? What do y'all think ??

I'd say that nothing has changed really. Top 4 still on the menu, and the title was always more difficult. I'm actually "glad" that we got some holes in our game exposed, and Mou will now fix them.

Tbf the main hole has always been there and it's were shit at finishing. Not sure how you fix that mid season except some more luck :/

It might not have been the best outcome but Liverpool dropped two points. City are crumbling and we're still unbeaten for a long time. Top 4 is still just a stones throw away.

Presuming (IF) we win, we would be:

i) 5th, a point above City (Spurs win)

ii) 6th, level with city and three behind Spurs (draw)

iii) 6th, 2 off City and two off Spurs (City win)

Shaw wasn't much better when he was starting. His positioning was utter garbage.

Left back isn't the problem. We can play Blind or Young there (unless the latter goes to China). The problem is midfield... STILL. More precisely, Carrick and what do we do when he is playing off.

The midfield is why I don't see us making us top 4 , Carricks defending and ball winning is pretty much gone, Darmian doesn't telegraph anything when attacking and everyone on the left struggles and Fellaini just doesn't work

Well it goes on as usual. Yes, it's not the result we wanted but we still salvaged a point from it. As others have pointed out, there's a top 6 game every week till March or so and our next games are Stoke, Hull and Leicester.

The results will get back on track, just chill.

This is tame really. If we had lost 0-1, some on this sub would be proclaiming we're back in the relegation fight and demanding the return of Van Gaal.

Best thing you can do is get a bucket of popcorn and enjoy the mini meltdowns sometimes. >_>

if city lose next week against spurs then we move up, then it all depends on arsenal dropping more points than us which we will eventually drop more points. just keep calm

If you look at the matches coming up throughout the next few months, it looks very well set up for United to force their way into the top-4.

ManCity vs Spurs, United play away to Stoke. Liverpool vs Chelsea, United host Hull. Chelsea vs Arsenal, United away to Leicester. Liverpool vs Spurs, United host Watford. Leicester vs Liverpool, United away to ManCity. Spurs vs Everton, United host Bournemouth. Arsenal vs Leicester, United away to Southampton. ManCity vs Liverpool, United away to Middlesborough. Arsenal vs ManCity and Liverpool vs Everton, United host WestBrom. And there are still a few other sketchy matches in between for our rivals as well.

You have to admit, the upcoming fixture list looks primed to rock the standings at the top of the table. If United can gather themselves and play well, they should be in the top-4 in no time.

We have City in February but otherwise, we are not playing any Top 6 teams until April and May where we will get Chelsea, Arsenal, and Spurs to close out the season.

This means we have to basically get maximum or close to maximum points to set us up for the grand finish.

So take it one game at a time. One win at a time.
