As much as everyone will be having a go at Pogba(rightfully so), our midfield 3 were absolutely abysmal off the ball today. No pressure put on the 'pool players when they had possession, no one sticking themselves in for 50/50s and so lacklustre in marking.

Loads of disappointing performances including Carrick and Mkhitaryan but most importantly, the substitutions were very poorly chosen. Bringing off Martial and bringing on Fellaini, Rooney and Mata reduced the pace of our attacking trio by so much. Nobody had the pace to take the ball and have a go at their fullbacks. This matchup was tailored for Rashford, we should have exploited the fact that their rightback was so inexperienced and kept on having a go at him as Martial did in the first half.

EDIT: I'm NOT blaming Fellaini. I'm saying that bringing on 3 players with no pace in their game was a mistake and that we would've had a different game with Martial still on the pitch or introducing Rashford at some point.
