Navixsport is great too if you don't want to install anything/ aren't technical. No adverts either.

I can second this. I've been watching games on navixsport and never went down for me. There is a limit to viewers so you need to be quick especially for United games. My experience is that any other game the stream is available at any point so the viewers don't reach the limit but when United plays the stream is full in a minute or two :)

Just want to remind people that acestream is peer to peer, just like bittorrent, you upload as you download, and unless behind a VPN properly, you are very visible in doing so.

EDIT: Not sure why I got downvoted for giving a warning but OK. Uploading a copyrighted stream, which everyone using acestream does, is something you can be sued for.

I live in Germany where you get fined 800 euros for downloading tv shows via Torrent. I got a letter for downloading TWD when I first came here but never for using it for the footy.

Ye the Premier League has been strangely quiet on P2P streaming of games, they seem more focused on getting streaming sites to remove flash feeds. I think the UFC have taken action on P2P in America, but I'm not sure if anything on this side of the pond.

But ye the thing is with torrents etc. you are uploading, which is distribution, and that's a whole lot different to downloading. The legality of watching a football stream is actually not that clear, but distributing it is pretty clear violation.

Out of interest if you happen to know, is the law specific to torrent or just copyrighted material?
As in, I use my seedbox to torrent and then FTP back to me.

Under the law the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted works is illegal and I don't think the method would matter. So with torrents as you download you also upload and that's what the copyright holders (or rather, the firms they hire) typically pursue people for.

It sounds like with your setup, your seedbox provider's IP is what is publicly visible rather than yours. The only way it could be linked to you is if your provider identifies you which many either won't or don't have the technical ability to because they don't keep logs of activity etc.

Yeah I figured it would be the case. Being somewhat paranoid I pay in bitcoins and only attach using another VPN.
A government could find me probably, not so sure about many others.

Ye, for both torrents and that kind of streaming it can't hurt to use a VPN and make sure to tie the application down to it. In Vuze, you can use its IP binding so that if the VPN goes down, it can't connect directly. You can achieve the same thing with acestream by changing the firewall settings so that acestream can only use "public" networks, then designate the VPN adapter as public.

I find streamm.eu has decent ones - usually the US streams, NBC or Fox Sports are faultless. In solid HD too

I sometimes see live streams on facebook. Try to search for the match and see the live feeds if there is one.

Go on reddit "soccerstreams". they post streamlinks for every game, there's always at least 1 low quality stream that doesn't fuck about
