I've gone that way, you have to do it for yourself and not listening to other people(meaning decide based on your experience and not the one of other people). It is not easy, but imo life without porn is better, at least for me.

It's just a choice. It doesn't give you magical manly powers, more energy, more intellectual reasoning, more understanding of the universe, and all of the other stuff adherents to it swear up and down happens.

There are no legitimate scientific studies that make a case for it or against it.

If you enjoy your life more by not masturbating (which is the adult term, not "fapping", which sounds like something a child would say), then good. If you enjoy it more by doing so, then good as well.
