Would anyone else prefer Andreas Pereira over Lingard? (self.reddevils)

No hate towards Lingard, but I think Pereira would be the better option for us. He is very good with the ball, also fast and has pretty good crossing skills that we are lacking. Lingard is very fast but often misses the easiest chances and isn't dangerous enough so I can't see him as United quality. Surely he can get better but I don't think Mourinho can wait long enough. If we need a fast player, Rashford would be the better option. Pereira would need premier league time to adjust but I think it is worth the try. Just an opinion of mine and really no hate towards Lingard.

Andreas Pereira is mainly a CAM / CM, Lingard is more of a winger imo

Entirely depends on what mourinho thinks and how he does when he plays. Obviously if someone's the better player id want them in.

Lingard is good for stretching defences, Pereira is more of a creator and goalscorer. Two different roles.

Lingard plays mostly RW (sometimes pops up at LW) Pereira is not a winger, he is more in the mold of someone like Mata.
