Yeah – this is so stupid. If left alone, most people would just take it to be some small business owner named Don who has a good business going. Now people are going to see the tape, some of it will be pealed off, and you’ll end up with stories like this about how he’s taped over his name on the toilets.
Hahaha, wow! Donald’s gotta have one tiny Don if he feels insecure over the portapotty branding.
This is unnecessary. Everyone knows if they were actually port-a-potties from Trump’s company they’d be the best port-a-potties. Gilded exteriors with marble interiors. With servants to wipe your ass.

Does anyone know if this was done for Obama’s inauguration? Was just wondering if this was simply to hide names and brands so they don’t appear on the TV broadcast. That said, I really do want to believe this was 100% baby ego driven.

Presumably the porta potties weren’t named Barack’s Johns it Barry’s Lavvies.
Fake news tricking liberals is so fun. First you all believed Trump hired prostitutes in Moscow to urinate on a bed the Obamas allegedly slept in, and now this. And the week isn’t even over yet! A simple call to Don’s Johns revealed that their logos are routinely taped over at national political events. But let’s just believe Internet rumors and innuendo. Unless it is about our current exulted leader’s birth certificate–then we all put on our thinking caps and rule it as fake news.
Then why are they only taping over the “Don”?

Fake news bating goes both ways friend and when the person in question has been routinely shown to invent whatever “truth” is convenient for the situation, that leaves an open door for the world at large to question everything surrounding his presidency.
It may be a misinterpretation of the “why,” but there isn’t anything fake about this. There is, in fact, someone taping over the logo on the porta-potties on the mall. Throwing “fake news” around is a dangerous game.
Fake news is reporting something that didn’t happen, including the why or the order. My first thought was brand names too, but maybe not. Point is I don’t know.
Not above posting on a blog to joke about, but I hope we’re above jumping to assume that’s actually why.
