4) As quality exclusive titles start to pile up, gamers begrudgingly buy one.

5) "[Nintendo Console] is the best thing ever! Look at all these great games! It may not be the most powerful thing in the world but I play it all the time!"

6) At the end of the console's life cycle, gamers re-evaluate it and conclude that, while it had some major flaws, they will remember it fondly.
