this is mostly what I've seen. To which i reply:

  • 1) It wasn't called offside and him being offside didn't make it easier
  • 2) Fair, but it was also moving much more slowly than Zlatan's cross, and seemed easier to make good contact with IMO
  • 3) Don't know why this makes it better...Mhki's hit side netting, that's pretty good too?

It was a great goal Giroud scored, so arguing between the two is really picking nits, but I think Mhki's was better, more difficult, and harder to replicate

Overall Giroud's was better, beautiful team play on the counter and he stayed onside after running into the box from the halfway line. Technique wise Mkhi's was harder as he was diving and the ball was moving a lot faster but unfortunately he was offside.

I said this after the two goals but Giroud ruined his with that celebration.

It was a better goal because of the buildup, hitting the bar and the fact that he was onside, but was it actually a scorpion kick? Looked more like a backheel flick to me.
