Would anyone be in favour of this move? It sucks that Memphis hasn't worked out however he has been linked with a move away for quite some time now. Payet no longer wants to be at West Ham but he has proved to be a quality player. However, he is nearly 30 and his whole attitude seems a bit Di Mariaesque. Would we want him for a season or two?

I don't think motivation was Memphis' problem. Always seemed that he just lacked confidence and could never really handle the physicality of the prem.

We already have too many wide players and buying Payet would mean less game time for Mata and Martial.

No not really I struggle to see where he would fit ,brilliant player on his day though I feel bad for Billic he seems like a nice guy.

I'm not sure if he is right for us however he defo needs to be somewhere better than West Ham tbh. I do rate him but I thought he would have gone somewhere before the start of the season and coming in Jan is a different matter.
