Just because Ethereum was not around a year ago. From Aug/2016 to Dec/2016 it gained ~900% relative to BTC. So there!

lol you think i care about that scam? etherum was idiotic since day one, no interest. and for what its worth, ETH gaining 900% doesn't mean a thing to me. i'm too busy watching bitcoin gain 129.861% in 2016. in case you didn't hear that the first time, bitcoin gained 129.861% in 2016.

Oops, Ethereum WAS around in Jan/2016.

So let me xisplain that to you: if in Jan/2016 you exchanged all your 1.00 bitscoins for ETH, and changed back to BTC on Jan/2017, you would now have 5.60 BTC. That is a 460% gain over BTC.

And if instead you switched back to BTC on 21/Oct/2016, you would now have 17.5 BTC. That is 1650% gain over BTC.

Compared to USD, ETH gained 1450% during 2016. That seems to be a bit more than 129.861%.

nah. i have a hard time seeing ETH as a stable/viable investment. that whole thing (not to mention the meltdown with the DAO) is a bit too risky for me. BTC is about as high as my risk tolerance goes.

i only have one statement. my statement is that bitcoin gained 129.861% in 2016 and you cannot correct that. i know you're the king around these parts, but sorry man. all your pontificating won't make that number change.
