It's they have no personality anymore. I'm working a nightshift in a hospital and tonight I'm working with this girl. There's a lot of down time so all we can do is read, talk, watch TV or scroll through Facebook. Since I Don't feel like doing any of those right now, I started talking to her. Just to pass the time. I try to find out about her hobbies and dreams and all all that but nothing. It's like all girls do now is go on social media and get their egos stroked. She's decent looking so she's probably used to guys just doing all the talking to entertain her but I'm comfortable with the silence. It's just an observation I've made lately and I see it time and time again when I meet girls. Admittedly it isn't just girls though, most guys also lack depth but it's mostly girls I notice.

It is possible that she just doesn't wanna bother talking to me, I can usually pick up on that and it doesn't seem like that's the case. Either, this was just my observation.
