Conflict of interest aside, the best way to move forward is to buy some LTC and be public about it. LTC price rise -> LTC miners activate SegWit because they see user approval -> SegWit works flawlessly on LTC -> BTC miners activate it on Bitcoin (edited)

It's an uphill battle to be sure even on Litecoin. But a higher price will help my message I can say see, users approve of my vision
