/r/NativeAmericanMusic is just what the name says, music by, for, and about Native Americans. We allow all genres of music so there is a good variety to interest all age groups and tastes.

I created the sub because I'd seen several Redditors asking if there was a place for Native American music. There wasn't so I made it. In the ten months since then we've enjoyed music from Pow Wow drums to South American flutes to love songs to protest songs to Hip Hop and more. I've been pleased and surprised by our communities efforts to widen our understanding of Native American music.

We have definitely shared a lot of great music here. I think we have a little something for just about all music lovers.
