Why doesn't Trump unite Americans behind an obvious threat? (self.EnoughTrumpSpam)

I'm genuinely curious, and I'm hoping for an intelligent response.

Donald Trump is in control of the most powerful nation in the world. WHY should he give a shit about Russia? It's a fucking backwater, compared to America. Why doesn't he demonize Putin? It seems like the obvious move; unite your people against a common enemy- even if they got you elected.

So why not denounce Russia? Trump is in charge, now. And I mean this in all seriousness: USA is magnitudes stronger than Russia. Why defer to a tinpot dictator like Putin?

Because that's what his predecessor did. Obama was rarely on good terms with Putin and the Republican media has always criticised him for that. Trump believes that by behaving differently from Obama he can gather support for himself and make a good ally out of Russia, since both men are very alike. There's also Russia's interference with the election and the fact that Trump does business in Russia.

Who gives a shit about his "dealing" with Russia. America is stronger than Russia. The USA is in a better position. If Trump was smart, he'd cast Russia as the enemy, confess that Russian interference got him elected, then proceed to destroy everything Russia stands for. Why defer, when you've got a better hand?

Because putin is an ex-kgb agent who knows how to manipulate people and trump is an idiot who can be easily manipulated.

So Trump is doing what Russia wants, because he's easily manipulated. I actually agree with that. But why? Is he being bribed? Blackmailed? He now has more power than Putin. Why not rally the American People against this. Seems like the obvious choice. Why is Trump so afraid to stand up to Putin, when he already has more power than Putin does?

I don't know about that. It's plausible, but I don't wanna go there unless there's evidence.

He has been seeking approval from NY elite his whole life. It goes back to his daddy not giving him his approval. He runs for POTUS because he was a joke to everyone. He hears the russian dictator(he loves dictators:hitler, kim jong un, putin, duterte) call him bright(he might've actually meant like a clown). Obviously he's overjoyed because the list of people who call him gr8 is pretty much non-existent. He started sucking him off and keeps sucking.

He's not very bright and doesn't have a spine(couldn't even stand up to Mexico's president. SAD!). He sees this great authoritarian figure that calls him a genius while the rest of the world is laughing at him. Of course, he's going to worship Putin. Plus, he would be acknowledging that Russia's interference helped Trump.

I'm baffled by Trump's response to all of this. Even if the Russian's built a case for Trump (which I believe), WHY does Trump not grab the ring? Instead he defends Putin.

He could command the most powerful nation on the planet, destroy Putin with a glance. But he defends him? Why?

As far as I'm concerned, this is the smoking gun of Russian interference, and of Trump's character.

Trump has the most powerful, technologically advanced, and third most populace Nation on the planet. But he differs to Putin. HE IS DEFERRING O PUTTIN.

Because he doesn't care about uniting anyone. He's out for one person and one person only: Trump. The value of anything to him is entirely within what can pad his bank accounts or garner him attention. And you can bet that he's planning on getting both of those things done by playing footsie with Putin.
