Formation of United (self.reddevils)

So I've followed United for a while, but being an amateur to football, I have no idea what formation the play with. I heard they play in 4-2-3-1, but is that true? Also, can anybody send me a picture or text picture I see in pre-match posts? Thanks.

It's basically 4-3-3 with Carrick being the most defensive in the midfield trio.

On paper it's that, but the front 3 are very interchangeable and are often switching positions. Valencia is essentially holding down the width on the right wing himself, allowing Mkhitaryan / Mata etc. to cut inside and operate through the middle.

Hey not sure how to do it but follow this link for the United game against spurs and click on line-ups...it shows a 4-3-3 but Carrick is much deeper closer to the defence and Pogba and Herrera are more advanced and not that wideline up
