Vandra is all that You need to keep your things organized and safe. Vandra protects your personal belongings against falls, shocks and is water-repellent. You can also secure your Vandra backpack with a locking cable and locate it using a tracking device and app. Vandra even charges your phone when the battery is empty!
Casten Design is Scandinavian, so we aim to be clever and thoughtful. We created Vandra with a vision to make modern life easier and keep your belongings safe.

Vandra is your squire. In the Middle Ages, a squire was the armor-bearer for a knight. He protected his master's equipment, organised it and kept it clean and safe. Casten Design is a Scandinavian design company, from Stockholm and based in Hong Kong. Our passion is to create sustainable useful everyday products with great innovative design.
Gustaf Casten founded Casten Design. Gustaf, got the idea for Vandra after dropping his backpack and breaking his laptop. Gustaf like to unwind at gym or at the hiking trails after days at the office. He determined to create a backpack to gadgets, but also make room for wet sports gear.

We began creating Vandra 15 months ago. The goal was to create the world safest, backpack - versatile and with great design. A backpack that you bring to the office in the morning and to the gym in the afternoon. An tough, elegant unisex item which looks good for all occasions.
Casten Design's team is Gustaf, concept designer and Vinson, the technical designer. Casper, Emil, Melissa, Gini, Ana and SiuFai all part of the creation of Vandra, Together they made sure all features and functions are in one backpack. That's Vandra. Establishing a sustainable design. Sourcing the correct fabric, insuring quality and the accessories required to make Vandra. Finding a reliable manufacturing partner. These were some of the challenges we faced to bring you Vandra. We selected a reliable manufacturer, in business for 15 years. We assigned third party quality control, to ensure products get shipped in prime condition.
We made agreements with two freight forwarder for the fulfillment of rewards. To help avoid delivery challenges, we ask you to provide a complete address and let us know if your address changes.

The SPORT compartment you can easily fit your sport shoes and clothes with towel. With the expandable front of the sport compartment you can adjust the size depending on how much gear you have.

We use a courier service for shipping with 3-5 days delivery including all shipping costs (custom clearance, duties and taxes). The price for shipping is based on an averaged actual cost. For backers in Hong Kong we added an option to use local delivery for Vandra Lätt (that can be upgraded to Vandra at checkout of project)
