I built this in 1979 and have been the only owner ever. It is a full custom vehicle that is in need of a restoration. It is a project but if you are ambitious it can be the one of a kind showstopper that it once was. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! No trades.
It started as a 73 Vega station wagon on a highly modified jeep chassis. It features a narrowed Dana 44 front and a narrowed Dana 60 rear. Both are fitted with Detroit lockers and 4.56 gears. Also is equipped with 4 wheel disc brakes.
Engine is a Chevy 355 built for torque which is backed up by a built th350 automatic with a heavy duty high stall torque converter and of course a shift kit it is also equipped with a NP203 transfer case which has been converted to part time 4 wheel drive using a Doug Nash 1 piece mainshaft. Giving you low and high range in both 2 wheel drive as well as 4 wheel drive. Tires are 38.5 Ground Hawgs with almost 100 percent tread. The tires do have some dry rot but still hold air fine. Body is highly modified with fiberglass rear quarters and 1 off fiberglass tilt nose.
