We've been working as hard as we can to ensure that the product will be realized on a realistic timeline. We've heard horror stories of production delays, miscommunications, and manufacturing errors. Here at ICIC, we are devoted to keeping your mind at ease even before using our product. That's why measures have been taken to all but guarantee the delivery of the new wave in personal technology.
We've already had our product reviewed, with projected timeline for production and delivery by our manufacturing partner. We've lined up shipping, logistics, and repair service. However, there are always risks that are out of our control, including:
- Certification delays: Various parts of our product must be tested and approved by various independent agencies.
- Unauthorized imitators: Beware of any third-party versions of our technologies. We understand that there may be knockoffs of our promising innovation, but do not use these. We understand that the prospect of a brain-altering device sounds scary, but it's actually much safer than current methods. We consider medication to be a "blunt" solution; it's addictive, imprecise and often causes all sorts of side effects. Biosoftware offers a much more specific approach, so we can deal with mental code on a line-by-line basis, rather than broadly altering the code with chemicals.

Nope. The Core sends data at a much higher frequency than perceptible. It does make notification sounds when you turn it on, connect it, and turn it off, but those can be muted.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties. However, we do hold legal rights over that data purely to protect it from outside use.
Working on ICIC has consumed nearly all of our time. It's been a blessing being consumed by this project. The further we got into it, the more we realized that its importance was greater than anything else.
Early in the development of the product, we realized that our music was a distraction; that this concept of digital mental interfacing would help people much more than our music ever could. So if you asked us this earlier, we would tell you yes, we are done.
In this past week, though, we discovered a function of ICIC that we never could have expected. We've been experimenting with a new development tool that allows access and decoding of internal mental audio. To our surprise, we could configure the Core in such a way that we could extract and store the music in our heads. This finding inspired us to try a collaborative extraction of imagined sound. Within 30 minutes, we dreamed up something we couldn't create with existing audio software.
So, while we won't be making music in the traditional sense, we are considering publishing our experiments and discoveries in the emerging field of Direct Mental Audio. We will report our findings on DMA decoding in a future update.

HippOS is the software platform for the LiFe processor. It's purpose-built for the Lithium Ferrite architecture and is invulnerable to malicious attacks from other operating systems. We chose the HippOS name because the Hippos are well-rounded, friendly, and powerful animals.
Although ICIC constantly modifies mental code, every logically interconnected line is modified at once and is committed only when the replacement code has fully transferred to your memory. This means there's always a complete, working version of code, even if the transfer is interrupted. Therefore, if you take the Core out during use, it simply pauses, ready to resume operation when you put it back on.
If you decide not to use the Core for an extended period of time, you will notice the gradual accumulation of mental errors in the form of anxiety and confusion. This will be very slow compared to your brain before ICIC. However, the emotional cleanliness of your mind is completely up to you. Use ICIC in a way that makes you comfortable.
