ヴァネッサ・デイヴィスさんの、ガイコツ・メイクがなにしろスゴい！　 “普通のガイコツ” になるのさえ、人間にとっては至難の業。だが彼女は金や銀、スタッド、スパンコールなどでごってごてに飾り立てたり、色とりどりのイラストをあしらったりと誰も見たことがないようなガイコツに変身してしまうのだ。

・他の追随を許さない盛りっぷり

なんとなくメキシコの「死者の日」の華やかなガイコツを彷彿とさせるが、デイヴィスさんの盛りっぷりはレベルが違う。Google などで「Skull Make Up（ガイコツ・メイク）」や「Mexican Skull Make Up（メキシコのガイコツ・メイク）」と検索すれば様々なガイコツ・メイク画像がヒットするが、彼女のようなガイコツは他に見あたらない。まさに唯一無二である。

Opulent Punk Skull 💎☠️💎✨ I've been wanting to do something with studs & Swarovski crystals! A detailed list of the products used will follow in the set by step by step picture I will post soon. This was fun if not laborious. My plan was to do a simple studded sugar skull, of course I can't resist turning something into a big look! I used Urban decay on the eyes, and MAC on the rest of the face. The embellishments were all bought quite cheaply on eBay and were stuck down using a prosthetic glue called Aquafix which is water based but very strong. Pink 1940's Cracked Skull Step by step 🔢☠️🎀🌸 As its approaching Halloween🎃 this look has been shared by a couple of Instagram friends. Looking back I noticed I didn't originally post the Step by Step so here it is! As you can see I used the first image for reference for drawing the cracked bit, which I sketched out using MAC automatic eyebrow pencil in 'Stud'. I've always wanted pink hair so I thought I would try this wig, which I coloured, rollered and styled into a classic 1940's 'do. I used my favourite MAC face painting Studio Tech in W10 which always gets sold out in October so act fast and buy one as it will last you forever. To draw the lines I used a MAC penultimate eyeliner pen to draw the teeth and my favourite Tom Ford double ended eyeliner pen and used MAC 'Blackground' with a small corner cease eyeshadow brush to blend the shadows of the teeth. The eyes had various loose MAC pigment powders, but I can't remember which ones they were- sorry. It's been such a joy looking at everyone'a Halloween makeups and skull renditions this month! I feel right at home!
