According to Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs, the president-elect's aides are working to finalize her role in the Trump administration.

During the campaign, Bondi faced scrutiny for a $25,000 donation from Trump's foundation that arrived at the same time she was deciding whether to investigate fraud allegations of the now-defunct Trump University. She decided not to investigate the allegations.  
The 2013 donation sent by the Donald J. Trump Foundation to Bondi’s fundraising committee was labeled an illegal political donation by the IRS. Trump officials said the incident was an “honest mistake” and later paid a 10 percent fine for the violation.

 

Trump has said he'll shutter his foundation to avoid conflicts of interest as president. Investigations of the foundation's activities however, are ongoing.
