True, but $1000 was never really that strong resistance on way up. We kind of breezed through it in a single day. Loosing $980 and then $920 would worry me more.

I once went through all Bitcoin predictions on tradingview - took me ages. I would have expected a good percentage of them being right just by chance. Turned out: Nearly all were massively wrong. Probably because the predictions are mostly too specific ("goes up first, then down 50% a month later" or so), which leaves too many possibilities for it to go another way.
There were one or two correct... but the same person always made more predictions then that all turned out false.

Most of the market-pattern finding is just like astrology. Especially the Fibonacci stuff makes me always laugh: those tools draw 500 lines.... and people celebrate if one is roughly hit.

"All" it takes is for the market to collectively decide that they aren't selling for less than $13K, and then for one dude to sell a fraction (say 0.01 BTC for $130).

My point is that it doesn't have to be a lot of money involved. Especially if there's a black swan event. Bitcoin has never seen a stock market crash, for instance.

I have my savings I need for a jobless phase in one year and additionaly a fraction of that in btc, but I will keep the savings in fiat because if I lose the money im screwed big time.
