Pics: Rooney back in United training

The Manchester United players debuted a brand new adidas training kit on Thursday as preparations for Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie against Reading stepped up a gear.

A seventh consecutive win in all competitions will send Jose Mourinho's men through to the next round of the]competition, of which the Reds are the current holders, although progress won't come easily against the in-form Royals who are managed by United legend Jaap Stam and flying high in the Championship.

Mourinho watched over the session at the Aon Training Complex, where Wayne Rooney was pictured working hard after missing the last three games through injury. The likes of Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Bastian Schweinsteiger were also in high spirits, as you can see in the gallery above.
