Following a Wall Street Journal report detailing Donald Trump's disdain for the United States intelligence community, the President-elect published tweets insisting that he does not dislike the intelligence agencies and that he does not necessarily agree with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

Trump on Wednesday morning noted that Assange has claimed that he did not receive leaked emails from Russia. The President-elect's reference to Assange's statements followed a Tuesday evening tweet in which Trump tried to cast doubt on the U.S. intelligence community's conclusion that Russian actors tried to meddle in the 2016 election by hacking political operatives.

The Wall Street Journal then reported Wednesday evening that Trump believes that U.S. intelligence agencies are biased against him and that Trump and his advisors are devising a plan to slim down two of the top intelligence agencies.
