The middle east really interests me. If I flood this sub with legit news articles because I think people might like them, you would refuse to stop me? What about just reposting the front page of r/conspiracy minus all the self posts about how Mossad and the CIA are out to get them?

Shitty and off topic content are still shitty and off topic, even if the spammer isn't getting paid to post it. The entire concept of a subreddit is to appeal to a niche interest so when you start allowing your orchid growing sub to be overrun by people asking questions about the hydroponic cultivation of pot, it ruins the discussion for people who just want to grow actual flowers.

If you are into conspiracies, go post on r/cons with the rest of the mental midgets and let the rest of us talk about podcast related stuff in the interim.
