This subreddit is for the discussion of cheating in an understanding way. Being monogamous is not for everyone. So far, I have not found any place on Reddit that allows people to discuss cheating in a rational way without downvotes and insults.
Example Topics:
  1. How do I avoid getting caught?
  2. My SO cheated, should I leave them?
  3. I feel guilty because I cheated, what do I do?
  4. I am trying to stay monogamous now, but it's hard.

Hello everyone. It looks like this sub does not have too many users but I would like to ask some questions regarding the act of cheating and how it has affected you? Hopefully this would create some dialog and discussion that will provide insight and thoughtful consideration to people's experiences with cheating.
-Have you ever been caught?
-If you have not, how did you avoid it?
-If you have, how were you caught?
-Do you and your SO ever share each others phones?
If they asked to see it, how would you respond?
-Do you ever put yourself in your SO's shoes?
If you cheat, would you be alright finding out if your SO is a cheater? Why or why not?
-Have you ever cheated on your So, left them for that person and then immediately regretted it? What followed?
-Have you ever cheated on your SO, left them for the other person and the relationship worked out? How is it going so far?

  1. Never been caught.
  2. Not being stupid, I suppose.
  3. My SO and I do not share each other's phone.
  4. Asked to see it? Depends on how they asked. If they implied I was cheating, I'd probably act pretty offended. If they just needed to use it for some reason, I don't have a problem with that. I have security settings on my phone that prevent accidentally reading something, and so the only way they'd discover it is if they were purposefully looking for something.
  5. My SO's shoes? Often, yes.
  6. If I would be alright or not with my SO cheating or not really depends on a lot of things. I mean, if I catch them I feel like they didn't even have enough respect for me to stop me from finding out, so I need to cut things off... but, if they admit it to me or something I'd probably discuss something polyamorous with them...
  7. No, I've never left a SO for someone else. I don't believe in doing that.

Thank you very much for your answers! What are you not in a Polyamorous relationship currently? Would you be more comfortable in a Polyamorous relationship or how your relationship is now?

Not now. Frankly tired of trying. Not sure what I prefer.
