I believe Pep is a great manager. At this time he's managing a team in transition compared to Barcelona and Bayern that were already powerful.
Pep is going thru a tough challenge and I believe he will overcome it and eventually succeed. City will give him the time and resources to do so. Also keep in mind that there are only 2 managers, currently n the PL, who are multi-winning European Champions.
Compared to Pep, Mourinho has managed Porto and Inter, who were good teams but never known as being European top royalty. He took them and made them into European Champions. These teams have had countless managers ever since and unfortunately not one was ever capable of duplicating that level of success.
In case you've forgotten, while at Inter, Mourinho beat both Barcelona and Bayern to win the Champions League.
Some say why he wasn't as successfull at Chelsea or Real Madrid. For one, these clubs are notorious for hiring and firing managers at the owners whim while demanding instant success. And coincidently, they're clubs rife with player power. Keep in mind that if 'mighty' Antonio Conte does not win Champions League next season, Roman will ship him out and get Simeone, if he's available.
Compared to other managers, in recent rimes, Mourinho lasted the longest at these clubs. And btw, he was not fired from Real Madrid as some of you believe.
When SAF retired, imo there was only one world class manager able to succeed a Legend and manage this great club. And that is Jose Mourinho.
It was just meant to be. Thank you for reading
