I just recalled something that I've said a lot of times over many years. Something that is true, but also weighs against the claim that MGTOW are really just incels/TFL.

Basically, when women hit their 40's (even late 30's) society begins hearing things like: "I'll never have another man." "After this 1 is gone there won't be any more.", etc. The older they get...the more say something along that line.

It dawned on me years ago as I was slowly sinking toward the MGTOW mindset...that it's ok when women say that kind of thing, BUT when men say it...it's unacceptable.

My point is: Women get tired of playing the games. They get tired of the bullshit that they deal with from men. And, that's ok. <--Meaning that's ok and it's ok socially!, but it's not ok for men to ever just say: "Fuck this." and walk away.

When women say it...it's understandable. When men say it...it's "what's wrong with you???

I think it has a lot to do with, consciously or subconsciously, the fact that they were lucky enough to get the first guy...now they're past the wall, over-the-hill, and heading toward, or oftentimes, already into, invisibility.

Being broke (money-wise) goes along way toward helping them realize that they aren't "good enough". Trust me, women are very insecure creatures. They know when they've been left out, left behind. They know. It's a big part of the reason female alcohol consumption is increasing the way it is. Last study I saw in the news said that the greatest --increase-- in suicide rates were females. Middle-age men are still by far the highest, but the greatest increase belonged to women.

They know when they're being left behind.
