so my new favorite idiot /u/Jamesshrugged got pretty well blasted in a thread. After poking around I found that he had called for backup by X-linking the thread to a sub he mods.

Well we all know that doing so is seen as a form of vote manipulation and said dumb ass was given a 7 day ban. To which he responded as such (spelling can be verified by the attached screenshot):

Where has any other person from my subposted in this thread? SPOILER: they didnt. I single handedly made your whole sub look stupid, and that is why you silenced me, chickenshit coward.

He was appropriately mocked in the ModMail (as people with such stunningly low intellect usually are) and his response was to look for more help from the fine folks over at SSS. Since this was obviously a little temper tantrum and a blatant attempt to garner more outside support for his already plummeting karma, the ban was made permanent.

What did we learn from this?

1) /u/Jamesshrugged is a fucking idiot.

2) Don't Cross link to threads you are personally involved in. It is a form of vote manipulation. Doesn't matter if you're pro-ELS or one of the marks who come here to fight a battle... the result will be the same. The ban hammer swingeth.
