WDWDWDWWWWWWW - Has this club finally turned a corner? (self.reddevils)

Forget for a moment about whether or not we're going to make Top 4 come May. Has Mourinho finally turned this club back around, and set us on course to be the best in England. We had a long way back to catch the other top 5 teams, but we're in the hunt and, aside from Chelsea, are clearly the most in form team in England, possibly even Europe at the moment. We're playing good, attacking football. We're getting late winners when we need them. We have a strong, mostly young squad that will be better next season.

Have we finally emerged from the dreadful Post-Ferguson Era?

I don't know if I'm cynical or it's just the last three years have taken their toll on me but let's just enjoy the run of form without hurrying to conclusions. The team looks threatening, confidence is high but if we lose one everyone is going to lose their mind all over again. Just be calm and enjoy it.

No it won't. We've played much better football and the results have massively improved. We look like we've got a motivated side that believe in themselves going forward. All of joses signing have paid off, as opposed to previous windows and we look like we are confident to beat anyone.

If we lose to the second in the league, it doesn't change any of that.

Thank fuck Mane is going to the african cup... The only weakness in the team atm is LB, and him vs Blind or Darmian is a terrifying thought...

Shaw will most likely play in the next two cup matches since he is no longer injured, but not fit enough.

I hope he plays so he can have about 30 shots that go over the bar by miles or straight at De Gea. I'd rather he have the ball than Firmino or Lallana

They couldn't beat Sunderland today. Liverpool are getting more mediocre every game. Hope they lose the next 3 matches and then all this talk of them challenging for the title will go away.

Not at all. A month ago, we were out of the top 4 bar any kind of miracle. Atm, tha miracle is happening and more can happen if we beat Liverpool next. I find it amazing. Depressing was the time when we drew 4 games.

Well just one month ago we were 10 points behind Arsenal(1-4 now), 9 points behind Liverpool(now 5) and City(now 3) and 6 points behind Spurs(0-3 now).

Chelsea are without doubt the most in form team in England, and I don't even know what Real Madrid's unbeaten run is at right now in greater Europe, but we are definitely setting ourselves up to be viable title challengers. I don't think we'll do it this year, but next year is wide open.

I think so and have thought so for a while now. It was frustrating when we kept drawing but in my mind we were a bit unfortunate and just need a few balls to break our way and that's exactly what has happened.

Chelsea are cruising and I don't see anyone catching them least of all us, but top 4 is definitely on.

If we Invest heavily for one more summer and replace Carrick and darmian , then we will be right in the title mix. I would even add a first choice ball playing CB to partner Bailley if one is available, but having Jones, Rojo and Smalling rotate wouldn't be the end of the world.

Top four or not I'm absolutely loving what mourinho has done to our team.

We still look shaky. I don't think Lingard should start. Rashford definitely needs more minutes and Mata should be in whenever possible. Having said that I'd like Rooney to have more time as well.

Either way, I'm pretty sure we won't be having dry spells as long as Liverpool. They last won the league in 1990 I think? Our post Ferguson era recovery is well on the way.
