His substitutions have been on point. Took off Darmian to accommodate more attacking players and slotting Carrick at the back - both subs combine to score. Brings on Smalling to deal with Carrol and allow Carrick to calm things in midfield.

And of course the subs that changed the game against Middlesborough.

Glad to see he's found his mojo :)

I don't think he has found his 11 yet. Its difficult to say who will play in the wide left/right positions game in game out. Mkhi is getting selected more often now, which is great, but no one is locked in yet --- and that's a good thing!

I'd prefer it if one of our players became undroppable on the wings. Would be extremely beneficial for the team if one of martial and mkhi became as important to the team as hazard and Sanchez are for their teams

Agreed. It appeared to me atleast that Jones and Carrick were keeping a decent line and Valencia and Rojo got caught not paying attention. Poor play by the fullbacks imo
