Valencia have launched a bid for Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.
Los Che sports chief Suso Pitarch Garcia was in England last week for talks with United over a price for the Argentine.
Valencia hope to do business for €16 million, though Rojo will take some persuading.
The defender rejected a lucrative move to China in August and has since fought his way into the first team over the past month.
Valencia are desperate for reinforcements as Cesare Prandelli's team battles to get away from the dropzone.
