Why did Memphis not work out? (self.reddevils)

This one still makes me scratch my head.

Lets look at what we have:

  1. The lad has got talent, he has had moments of brilliance in the time that he has played.
  2. He has got potential, obvious.
  3. His attitude seems to spot on from all the workout videos he posts.
  4. United have given him opportunities. Remember we gave him the no. 7 shirt. He was supposed to be the next big thing when he came in.

I have a feeling he'd be a smashing hit once he plays regularly. But he cant do that at United, so he should go on a loan. A sale is a mistake imho.

I don't have a good answer to the overall question, but with regards to your 3rd point, do we really know he has a good attitude based on instagram workout posts? I mean, keeping fit is the bare minimum you'd expect of a professional footballer. His attitude in the face of adversity might've been terrible even if he hit the gym twice a day
