Between the PG sub on Voat being overrun with Antisemitism shills and T-D being overrun with censoring anything questioning Israel.... It kinda feels like they're trying to pin us against each other.

That's the entire purpose of the news. To pit us against each other. Here is a thought exercise: if you watch sports, when a fan runs into the field of play the cameras will not show the fan and the announcers will not mention the fan. The reason being they don't want copycats. So why when I turn on the news all I see is hate? Why is the news so hell bent on showing and promoting division? They want copycats

The media suppresses people who are against suppressing people by angering them. Angering them and suggesting their enemy while lying to them with all the false emotionally charged news narratives. There are people talking to their daughters about rape because Trump was elected and shit like that. They're crazy, it's bizarre. It's all because of these false emotionally charged news cycles. ALWAYS pay attention to their coverage. I now see their narratives and can correctly play their narratives like a chess game. You must always be steps ahead of them and their narratives.

Fox News is controlled opposition and is under their control as well. If you can make everyone emotional, they're prone to behave irrationally and not thinking logically.

It's very difficult to think independently these days. Even worse, it's harder to debate people these days because these emotionally charged narratives have made people make up their minds without second guessing them, facts be damned. One example is how meritocracy is seen as oppression now. Independent news is called "fake" news by these false narrative spreading news agencies.

The news needs to lose all legitimacy in the American public's eyes before we can fix this. Or else we're on a path to civil war all because the globalist's fake ass news.

Edit: And here's today's fake ass news about Russia "hacking our election". Notice how vague Obama and the news make this narrative. They're intentionally painting with a broad and ambiguous brush in hopes to stir shit up and delegitimize Trump's election. Here's Obama's proof which is so vague it's laughable. Obama, a Constitutional scholar, believes this is solid proof. In the report they don't make it clear if this alleged attack was referring to the DNC leak or some other incident. Nothing specific at all. BUT, they're not interested in specifics because it's more FAKE ASS NEWS. This fake news allows people to run with it and say "look at this definite proof that russia hacked the votes for the election."

It's not necessarily "Controlled Opposition" imo, Murdoch has the same interests overall as the other corporate media tycoons he just has his own agenda and goes after his own self-interest to an extent.

I consider FOX compromised when their ratings are consistently beating their liberal competition, they're actually at all time highs. Yet FOX never faces any conservative news competition on network TV. It's FOX or bust.

Usually with demand comes supply to meet the demand, unless the supply chain is being controlled...

Usually with demand comes supply to meet the demand, unless the supply chain is being controlled...

There ARE other networks (not to mention how most other media is center-right anyway), but I think you shouldn't underestimate how HUGE 21st Century Fox is. They could easily swallow up competition and people might say "I don't want to mess with Murdoch".

Fair point. There's an untapped market that Fox seems to have 100% market share on. It seems strange to me, but liberals shouldn't be surprised when conservatives seek other alternatives to Fox because conservatives don't have many other "establishment" news alternatives outside of Fox. There's such a great demand for alternatives that it has spilled over heavily on the internet. I think most politically minded people 40 and older generally know what they're getting into when they turn on Fox News or CNN/MSNBC. Most people younger than 40 seem to be heading to the internet to get their news while disconnecting cable television altogether. This "fake news" shit seems to be the legacy news crying as they lose market share.

Agree with you fully. I did some research on the demographics of some MSM networks and there's also frequently audience numbers posted by them to either brag about how their viewership is increasing or whatever. And in both MSNBC and Fox's case, the average viewer was over 60 and white. So it appears they absolutely are going to continue losing viewers. I know I personally don't even own cable connections, I watch the streams that various channels offer.

If someone actually knows how to interpret ratings numbers, PLEASE shed some light on these numbers about Fox News "the most watched cable news network".

And yet, the instant response for most people will be "that's sports not news! News is different; we have the right to know!"

But the concept of a copycat transcends these labels, "news" or "sports" or anything else, because it's based on human behavior.

It is a great point.

Voat went invite only to stop it, I assume they're going to let more people in once they've cleaned out the shills. Maybe a temporary change to the subs that are heavily infiltrated until we can clean house?

I was up early this morning when the thread titled "Russia plans immediate 'counter-measures' after US ejects 35 diplomats" was posted. That title was the same title used by The Guardian. Then the Guardian edited it to now say "Putin says Russia will not expel US diplomats in tit-for-tat measure." The Donald added a flair that says "BAD TITLE" when, in fact, it was the original title. Not only was the title of the article changed, the content of the article was changed as well. This is my first post in that thread...

Russian authorities on Thursday ordered that the Anglo-American School of Moscow be closed, according to CNN,... There was no official confirmation of the move, which may be... Zakharova denied that Russia would target the school in response. “It’s a lie,”

CNN and the Guardian are fake news. This is a sensational scare piece. Hopefully the intention isn't to set the narrative that Russia is "furious" to pave the way for a false flag operation. I wouldn't put anything past this Citibank administration. The only credible information in this article was this...

“It seems the White House has now gone completely mad

These were copy/paste snippets done by me directly from the article but now they are gone. T_D is compromised again. To me, that raises concerns of an incoming effort to hide something about to come out.

Yeah, this shit was so obvious. They have been banning people and removing any posts that don't kiss Israel's ass and the users were getting pissed.

Then they come out with this, make jokes about how it is "the most useless bit of information, but we are giving it out anyway. Look how transparent we are!"

Is obviously trying to get out in front of "the mods are doing some shady shit" to which there is plenty of peoof. Just go look at the ceddit versions of any of the "Israel is great" threads and you can see it clear as day.

I legit got banned for something I never said. The message said I was banned for saying "the mods are compromised" which I never wrote. I responded with "check out my post, I never said that" and was muted.

That's true but it is interesting and somewhat surprising that the most notorious online presence of Trump supporters is so pro-zionist that they actually ban and mute opposing views.

a Clinton sub

would have been a waste of time.

r_T_D had 250K subscribers and was very very busy in the run up, r_HRC had 25K and was a ghost town with a literal handful of votes and comments per thread. low energy indeed.

HRC inc just pocketed the $1.5B in donations and that was that, no real campaigning aprt from some CTR social shite.

/r/The_Donald shifted their agenda dramatically after the election and, more importantly, after the Spez meltdown. It would be hard for someone to not realize that.

Mods changed their narrative to ban tangential threads that were the foundation of that subreddit. Admins banned their sticky threads and changed the algorithm/point scoring method to decrease the number of threads that reach /r/all.

The once "high energy" subreddit, whether you think it was bots or not, was knocked down to medium energy in order to fit in with the other "dae 2016" memes and cat gifs.

I can tell you I've noticed from posting a bunch of different things in T_D that certain threads about certain topics it seems that even if you get 100-500 upvotes in an hour or two you never break 1000. There's not even any downvotes its like the threads just stall. But other topics skyrocket no problem.

I spend a lot of time on The_Donald and it is amazing the pro Israeli sentiment that is just overwhelming. I hadn't seen that before. I was attacked or down voted for asking questions about the Obama abstain and what not. I really don't know a lot but it just seemed so one sided there. Something is up. I am still hoping Trump can correct the pedophilica satanical mess the globalists are in. Jail time, hanging time...

Guys, social media is the new MSM. And it won't be a day too soon that we are on (as an intermediary) Voat.co, Gab, etc to help resolve some of the problem. We will find a way in time.

the neo-nazi crowd have taken over R_D, thats obvious as hell. (given to them)

this has been allowed by reddit admins, its a deliberate fouling of the subreddit to discredit and hinder genuine political talk.

Can we make a trump sided sub that allows dissenting opinions but doesn't tolerate shilling? Like a place for reasonable discussion about politics? Doesn't even have to be pro trump but we should have a place where we can civilly discuss politics uncensored, without shills, without resorting to this sub. R/politics has been dead for awhile. I'll even be a mod, I don't give a fuck, I'm just tired of seeing the heavy censorship.

Impossible. Every time someone tries, trump supporters show up with memes and generally shitty attitudes.

Don't allow memes, don't allow shitty attitudes. They've got plenty of that on their own sub. I want to make a politics sub that is rooted in fact. Speculation and opinion is good, but only if it is recognized as that. I want to force anyone who may participate, to be open minded and willing to entertain ideas that they may not support.

We will not ban or remove based on the opinion of the user, but strictly on the state of mind of the user.

It's been tried. /r/neutralpolitics isn't so bad. Every other one just ends up picking a side. You'll end up with pepe and pizzagate eventually on anything slightly right leaning.

Just look at this sub, it's over run already.

/r/politicaldiscussion but you'll probably be banned if you start mouthing off about pizzagate and stupid shit pushed by Russian propagandists

That's the Bernie r/politics. And while I liked Bernie, I'm sure the mods there are bought off too. We need a place where pizzagate along with other things that may be taboo to the mainstream can be discussed without bias. We need a place that is rooted in fact. We are straying dangerously from fact and should have a place to protect truth and facts.

>doesn't tolerate shilling?

Define "shilling".
There is no way to differentiate between shills and actual Clinton supporters.

There are plenty of ways to differentiate it. Shills use specific recognizable tactics to steer conversation and derail productive reasoning. They don't have any logic. It is possible to logically and civilly discuss the election and policies with a "Clinton supporter" so long as that supporter is logical and open minded themselves and willing to entertain another point of view.

Shills use short and distracting comments that fail to address the big picture. They insult in order to trigger. They use text lingo and caps sometimes in subs where that is uncommon "LOL trust me........." kind of thing. It's getting easier to identify them as time goes on.

Impossible. trump supporters won't even entertain the thought that people just hate trump.

It's so true. I've come to learn there are logical and sensible people on both "sides" but it seems that the loud ignorant batshit crazy are a much larger percentage of both major parties and worse they are blind followers. I've voted Democrat before and this was the first time I voted Republican in my life. I've never considered myself part of either party and I don't think most intelligent people do. No one talks about PizzaGate, Ending the Fed, not supporting Zionist Ambition at the expense of the American people, more Wars, Goldman Sachs lining the cabinet positions, the Central Bank being the power source for Globalism and stopping them, etc etc.
