A: RSS (an abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication) is a web feed format used to publish frequently updated works—such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video—in a standardized format. An RSS document is usually called a "feed" and includes summarized text, plus data such as publishing dates and authorship.
Web feeds are a means to syndicate content automatically. RSS feeds can be read using software called an "RSS reader," "feed reader," or "aggregator," which can be web-based, desktop-based, or mobile-device-based. A standardized XML file format allows the information to be published once and viewed by many different programs. The user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed's URL into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The RSS reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new work, downloads any updates that it finds, and provides a user interface to monitor and read the feeds.
You can access an RSS feed in FireFox, Internet Explorer and other browsers that support RSS. You can also get a program to receive the RSS feed, such as iTunes | Juice | Zune (to name a few). Within the browser or the feed reader software there are instructions how to subscribe to the feed.
iPhone: We recomend that you use the app "Downcast" if you wish to download the radio program via the RSS feeds. Go here and scroll down to "Downcast" to find out more.
If you want to stream the program with your iPhone: Touch the RSS feed you want to access on our RSS main page, touch the program you want to listen to and simply click play on the player that is located in the RSS feed underneath the description text for each program.
Android Phone: We recomend that you use the app "BeyondPod" if you wish to download the radio programs via the RSS feeds. Go here and scroll down to "BeyondPod" to find out more.
If you want to access the program via the RSS feed with your Android, you need a feed reader where you can enter your login credentials, otherwise you won't be able to access the password protected content in the feed.
A: Click on the RSS button in the top menu from any page. It looks like this:

If you use another RSS feed reader program, make sure the program has a feature where you can enter your login credentials in association to the feed. Otherwise you won't be able to access the password protected content. If you use a browser based feed reader, click into the RSS feed you want to access and click "subscribe" and then login when promted.
If you use iTunes on your desktop computer, you can use the "shortcut" option located on the main RSS page. Click the link to automatically subscribe to the feed that contains the 50 latest programs. This option also works if you have the Downcast app installed on your iPhone / iPad.
To be able to listen to a program from the RSS feed it's important that you are logged in or that the feed reader promts you to login. If it doesn't, click or touch on any program link (the title) from the feed and login when asked. After this, go back to the feed to listen or download.
