How to listen in iTunes

Download

1. From redicemembers.com click on the RSS icon in the top right menu

2. Right click (or CTRL + click if on Mac) on the feed you want to subscribe to, for example: "Red Ice Radio - Latest Programs". In menu chose "Copy link address." Depending on what browser you use it might say: "Copy Link," "Copy Link Location," "Copy Shortcut"

3. Open iTunes and click the "Music" selection menu and change it to "Podcasts"

4. Click the menu icon at top left and choose "Show Menu Bar"

5. In the menu click "File" then "Subscribe to Podcast..."

6. Paste the address you copied in Step 2 in to the URL box, click "OK"

7. Once the RSS feed is added you will be promted to log in. Enter your log in credentials and check the box "Remember Password" (if you don't want to enter it again next time you open iTunes). Click "Log in"

8. Click the "Old Episodes" button

9. You can now download and listen to all available episodes from the feed in iTunes. Chose "Add All" or Select individual shows by clicking the radio button to the right of each episode

For more feeds go back to the main RSS page on redicemembers.com and copy other Feed URL's and follow the steps above to subscribe to them in iTunes.




Known issues

No Password Promt in iTunes? Workaround

A bug in the new iTunes software is preventing some listeners from subscribing to a password protected feed when using iTunes. If you are experiencing this problem please use the following work around:

1. Follow step 1 thru 5 above. Once at step 6, after "http://" type in your username and password, separated by a colon ":" followed by an "@"

Example: http://username:password@www.redicemembers.com/rss/rss_radio.php


2. Click OK and follow the rest of the instructions
