Going through the new posts here, 12 fuckn news about rape or molestation in a row. WTF i know rape is a problem that needs our attention but this is too much.

Rape is bad. Rape is actually very bad. Rapists are also bad. Ideally 0 rapes should happen. Rapists should get quick and harsh punishment.

these news items does lead to discussion in society. however limited numbers discuss it, does affect it (my belief)

If you notice the user, almost all of the news are submitted only by one guy r/SunnyLeone or something similar.
He pretty much goes through Internet daily to find Indian rape news and dumps them here.

Holy shit people. Stop witch hunting another user. That is categorically not okay. If you don't like stories, I would recommend filtering it out using reddit gold or RES.
Everyone who doesn't break subreddit or reddit rules has as much a right to /r/india as you or me. Do not attack them for exercising that right.

it's not witch hunt. Mods seem to love those users who post them in huge numbers, there is difference between individual crimes and analysis. Millions of crimes happen in India, we have 1.3 billion people.
