It was a public school.

They couldn't suspend me from school but the sports teams have a code of conduct you are supposed to follow. I was going to have to miss football games.

I'm willing to bet what they did was legal but even if it wasn't if I asked my dad if we could get a lawyer to fight it he would have told me to fuck off.

I can empathize with these kids. I'm pretty dorky and I know what it's like to be bullied, and I can imagine the kind of judgement and ridicule they probably got from their peers for posting stuff like this.
