I use Bing. It's perfectly fine. Set it as your homepage and set it as your default search engine. You won't even notice the difference in search results and you'll actually feel good seeing patriotic imagery on US holidays. You'll actually be shocked to see American flags, Christmas Trees, and other Western imagery in your search engine after so many years of not see anything.

          I hate to break it to you but that will do very very little to avoid Google.

          You don't even need to be using their search engine, their adsense and tracking codes are on 80% of all webpages that you visit these days. Google can literally track every page you visit as long as the site owner has google ads, analytics, youtube, or any other google script running. There are browser add-ons that allow you to block specific scripts.

            I tried some other news searches and infowars.com seems completely blocked. I then tried some other quasi-news and alternative news sites and even some forum frontpages: they all show up.

            It isn't net neutrality they support. It's crony capitalism where smaller companies and ISPs can't charge bandwidth abusers to set up direct links to ensure capable service.

            Instead of charging the companies to set up these links, ISPs now have to raise rates to provide connections themselves.

            Net neutrality the way that Netflix and Google pushed for, is nothing but pushing their infrastructure costs onto consumers, instead of actually using their funds to create the infrastructure. I use Bing daily because I live in China anyway, but seriously, I refuse to use any kind of engine that will censor the truth, and everyone here should.
