We can't just chalk full a team full of superstars and call it good. Real Madrid have shown us that. We need a balance of players that can work effectively with each other and get some stability, bringing in four to five players each year won't help.

They have a team full of superstars and have two CL titles. It works. Quite well tbh.

A midfield of modric, james, and kroos at DM is what I'm talking about, Zidane has brought some balance to the squad.

This is the mentality alot of the best clubs around the world tend to have, bar a few. They will do whatever it takes to get to the top and this mentality is what we need.

Name me a couple of clubs that do this.

For many years we have had the privilege of boasting the best manager in the world who would win us titles by getting the best out of average players.

average players.

Stopped reading there.

Shit idea in general. We're not City; we don't overpay for players and slam together a team of foreign superstars and hope for it to work. It clearly hasn't worked too well for them.

So many clubs have thrived without being shithouses in the transfer market. Like us. We don't need to resort to this.

We have been jamming a team full of superstars for the past 3 years and we have been slowly improving.

No, we actually haven't.

None of the players we've signed in the past 3 years bar Mata, Falcao, and DM were superstars.

There are so many things fundamentally wrong with this post. Do you acknowledge the effects of breaking a transfer record does to the market?
