Personally, I'm a fan of bad-endings. I do like this theory, but the ending is a bit too perfect. Nothing in life ends with 100% closure and the comic should (hopefully) reflect that

Juniper clearly expressed Mr. D's plot element that Timmy won't lose his fairies because of Juniper. Sounds like she's teamed up with them before. She's also mentioned she regularly has dealings with a wide variety of magical creatures. Mr. D writes "da rules" for this comic and he has spoken through Juniper. Nuf said about that.

The whole Veronica/Trixie & Timmy/Tootie thing is possible but we also have a whole shit-load of characters that haven't had their 15 minutes of fame yet. Remember Mr. D long ago mentioned everyone gets a piece of the action, though Timantha/Trixie/Juniper/Veronica will have more than most.

Also, we're only into late day 2 - early day 3 of a 3 week vacation. Maybe someone will speed-up time or put everyone on ice for 3 weeks...we'll see.

Ask yourselves this: If Mr. D ends this in another 30 or 40 pages won't you miss it? I find even a very long good book is too short.

I plan to sit back and hope Mr. D keeps surprising me with a great story and great art, and no matter how long it takes, I'll wish (hear that Wanda) it was longer.

October was a bit of a dry spell due to the "drawing a day" for requests, so we got page: 135/Sep 20; 136/Oct 12; 137/Nov 01; 138/Nov 11; 139/Nov 28 and finally 140/Dec 05.

Their is certainly precedent for another page before the New Year but without knowing what is going-on in Mr. D's life it's hard to say.

I usually start looking for another page after about two weeks, which would've been the 19th, so I think we'll get one by Saturday...but that's just a guess and yours is as good as mine.

I just hope Putin doesn't hack this website...maybe we should check WikiLeaks for our next update.

It's christmas so he might be taking some unannounced time off, but then for us it's christmas and many of us get a day off around now to add to the "keep checking" habits. Mr D hasn't updated his Jab page since December 4th (and last activity was the 10th), and said that he was going to be working on the low-price quick-commissions from Patraeon. And some of _those_ are from November. Easy to see why some of us are getting antsy. God help us when he actually _does_ go on a long vacation.

Haha, not a chance. Not just because of the amount of time it would take, but also because I'm adamantly opposed to that sort of thing. If you develop as an artist, your old stuff is ALWAYS gonna look shabby compared to the new; if you go back to try and 'fix' it, you'll just be caught in an endless loop of recycling the same ideas over and over, and you'll be trapped, and you'll stagnate. It's always important to look back, but I personally believe that-for better or worse-the past is past, and what's done is done. Better to look towards the future.

I actually try to take as few days off as possible. I feel like a day I don't draw SOMEthing is a day I've wasted. Can't always avoid it, and I don't always draw porn so you guys usually don't see those efforts, but its rare that I don't keep myself busy.

Hey Mr.D, ever tought of making a Game out of this Story ? Something along the lines of you play as the Spirit and slowly corrupt and convert Teens, their Number and Lewd actions give you Energy for bigger Aktions.
Of course you also need to allocate Resources to make the Camp look normal, divert suspicion, so no open Orgys, build defenses against Magic Guardians and maybe capture and corrupt them as well and so on.
Kinda like the game Evil Genius, just with Sex. :)

At least partially because he was human and a decent guy, I'd guess; when you're faced with someone pleading for their life, it's hard not to be moved by that, no matter what you know they've done.

Besides, being shown mercy (at the same time that one is shown one can be beaten) can catalyze a redemption. This time it didn't; if the spirit can be destroyed, it probably won't get another chance now.

Alright I gotta ask.
I know you do commissions and I know we can directly contact you, but can we commission new comic pages?
I hate to be a smartass, but would that be an appropriate way to speed up the comic? Or just an insult?
