Quick question regarding Europa League tickets. (self.reddevils)

My brother and I are planning a trip to Europe and will be in France when United play St. Etienne.

What's the best way to get tickets? If the away section is sold out, would we be okay to sit elsewhere?

This will be our first time seeing United play live outside of Australia, so any help is appreciated!
