1986 Dodge Colt Vista up for sale, price of $2700. You won't see many of the driving around, in fact I've only seen one in Portland in the past year. And with such low miles! Also know as the Space Wagon or the Chariot in other markets. Dodge did not manufacture this--it is a rebadged Mitsubishi vehicle. Mitsubishi had an excellent reputation for manufacture during this era. Many people think Tercel or Subaru when the first see the vehicle. Similar boxy/panelly 80s styling and with killer 4WD, but even more rare (and comfy IMO). These are known to be killer in the snow. Come on down to Sellwood and give it a go.

Spotlight features:
--Push button 4WD
--5 speed manual transmission
--Super compact width, surprisingly spacious inside
--Specced to carry seven passengers!
--109,100k original miles
--Upgraded aftermarket speakers, front and rear
--Two previous owners that I know of, an old man and his brother
--Huge cargo area, can lay rear seats down and lay in back (see photo)
--Third row seating

Mechanical notes:
--Passed DEQ with flying colors, always a crapshoot with older vehicles like this
--Oil/filter changes done whenever due
--Recent ignition tune (new plugs, new wires, new cap/rotor, new battery)
--Newer tires, alignment done with new tires
--20MPG consistently
--All lights are working and all glass is solid

There is nothing remaining on the to-do list, except that it needs some cosmetic love on the outside. The PO was preparing to paint the vehicle and sanded off the topcoat. It looks peculiar. Mechanically, I've taken care of anything that has cropped up, when it's cropped up. This has been a fun project and has been quite the conversation piece. It really is a unique vehicle. I am giving it up because I've recently acquired another project vehicle, with problems to fix. This old Colt Vista doesn't have any more problems to solve!
