I know it's not a hate group but I just want to vent to a place where I feel there's more moderate-ground politics and felt like this sub is more open to that idea.
There's nothing wrong or offensive to what I said except for some incredibly mild criticism of both sides and how they like to label all participants of the other as idiots, racists, etc. and how such labelling leads to nowhere. I felt that the OP is asking a genuine question about why some people view the movement that way so I gave an answer from the perspective of those people. But I suspect that u/TheYellowRose probably didn't even get to the last paragraph of my post before he reached for the banhammer.
It just amazes me how both sides could be so stuck in their echo chamber that any disagreement is so vile and offensive that it must be silenced. I just don't understand why people behave like this?
