I'm struggling to think of what they have contributed to society.

I can imagine there are a handful of women who run businesses and do relatively well, but I can't think of any major things.

I started thinking about this while noticing my mother's favourite show. It's basically a group of women being given money to buy clothes and then they rate each other's outfits at the end of the day. It's vacuous chick crack. And it's also extremely popular and successful.
