I work at the mall and watch numerous people walk by me everyday. I've learned to smile and nod respectively, but something happened yesterday that I can't really explain. I was sitting at my booth when I saw this one girl walk by me. We both locked eyes for ~7 seconds and then I looked away. My heart started to beat really fast, and I became really hot all of the sudden. I don't think she is necessarily attractive at all, but I was wondering what this means? I tend to just stare at women and think nothing of them, but this one made my body react.

Its been weird. She and I ignore each other now. Every time she walks by my kiosk, I don't look in her direction and when I passed her kiosk she immediately turned around. I am not trying to delude myself thinking that she find me attractive (I am very ugly) but I was wondering if anyone experienced something similar? How did you stop these feelings from happening?
