I'm originally from South Asia, living in Canada. I'm in my late 20's, and have a successful career in IT. Been going my own way for almost 7 years. Back in where I'm from, where my family (parents+ siblings) is, most people still get married via arranged marriages (there days it's mostly like the families set them up together, they talk for a few months and see if they like each other; it's not like they meet for the first time at the wedding). My dad never brings it up, but my mom does- and I flat out say it's never happening.
Going my own way has done wonders for me. I'm financially secure, can buy whatever I want, go where ever I want, do whatever I want- it's great.
I deal with loneliness (it it ever comes up) through meditation. I meditate, hit the gym, train MMA, and play video games. That's enough to keep me occupied. Got a big fat bonus check for the holidays, and I'm planning to get some new furniture for the apartment. MGTOW saved my life; it showed me my freedom is the most valuable thing I have.
If I every feel down, I come here, and my mind is back on track again. Thank you guys! and spread the word!
